Transformative change with the Mapt team

Mapt partnered with Happy Hollow Children’s Camp as the inaugural recipient of our $100K Transformation Challenge. Since 1951, the organization has leveraged its Brown County location to ensure all youth have the opportunity to experience summer camp. Happy Hollow primarily serves youth in the greater Indianapolis area, 96 percent of whom qualify for free or reduced lunch.

“Mapt has not only handed us a road map, but they participated in the journey. The Transformation Challenge opened the door to a much bigger opportunity than we would have discovered on our own.”

Mapt worked alongside the nonprofit throughout 2023 to identify key opportunities and make strategic choices to chart a bold course for Happy Hollow and its 900-acre campus to sustain and grow its operations. As a result of the Transformation Challenge, Happy Hollow has a deeper understanding of its strengths and opportunities, a clear plan for the next five years and a detailed roadmap to execute it in the first year. Additionally, the effort built deeper relationships and collaboration between Happy Hollow’s board and staff.
